Hoffmann Institute Christian Outreach Scholarships
Greetings Concordia ministry and outreach students. The Hoffmann Institute offers scholarships for students interested in working in the area of outreach. You should prayerfully consider applying for this wonderful blessing. The following criteria will help students determine the appropriateness of applying for the Hoffmann Institute Scholarships. 1. Students should normally have at least two years experience at Concordia University and/or have been admitted to a professional program. (The Hoffmann Institute Team will consider individual cases due to second/third career issues, non-traditional student status, previous academic work completed, etc.)
2. Students should show great promise of making a significant contribution to the work of Christian outreach in the church. Spiritual maturity, personal qualities, leadership abilities, previous experiences, and academic success will be considered when evaluating potential.
3. Students must be preparing for professional ministry in the church.
4. Levels of financial need as reported by the financial aid office are taken into consideration when awarding scholarships.
